Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is designed to nurture curiosity, build strong foundational skills, and develop confident learners at every stage, from a child’s first step into Pre-Nursery to the more advanced academic and creative challenges of Grade 5. Each level balances age-appropriate academics with hands-on activities, language development, and real-world connections, ensuring children grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

Pre-Nursery

A gentle introduction to school life through play, phonics, and exploration. Focused on language exposure, basic numeracy, and sensory development.

  • Letter recognition and phonics sounds (A–Z)
  • Oral counting up to 20
  • Basic shapes, colors, and animals
  • Theme-based EVS: birds, transport, healthy food

KG I (Junior KG)

Foundational learning through phonics, storytelling, and early writing. Children begin expressing ideas confidently through sounds, words, and movement.

  • Jolly Phonics Sets 1–3 with jingles and actions
  • Vocabulary through activities and rhymes
  • Pre-math concepts: big-small, tall-short, 1–10
  • Tracing and capital letter writing
  • Basic Hindi letter recognition

KG II (Senior KG)

Structured early literacy with phonics blending, writing, and comprehension. Maths and EVS are taught through activities and real-life connections.

  • Reading and writing 3–5 letter words
  • Introduction to tricky words and digraphs
  • Number names, counting 1–200, basic addition/subtraction
  • Hindi: swars, matras, and rhymes
  • EVS: seasons, safety, healthy habits

Grade 1

Transition into formal academics with focus on grammar, sentence formation, and real-world learning. Emphasis on writing, math, and self-expression.

  • Basic grammar: nouns, opposites, rhyming
  • Cursive writing and unseen passages
  • Numbers up to 100, introduction to shapes and money
  • Hindi: sentence structure, vachan, and gender
  • EVS: family, body parts, transport, and communication

Grade 2

Building fluency in reading, writing, and speaking. Introduction to multiplication, creative writing, and structured grammar.

  • Grammar: adjectives, pronouns, conjunctions
  • Application and picture writing
  • Math: multiplication, division, fractions
  • Hindi: anuchhed, vilom, sangya, visheshan
  • EVS: plants, festivals, helpers, and safety

Grade 3

Encouraging creativity, reasoning, and comprehension through integrated subjects and hands-on learning.

  • Literature: poems, stories, folklore
  • Grammar: verbs, tenses, conjunctions
  • Math: fractions, time, money, geometry
  • EVS: caring, natural resources, animals & plants
  • Computer: Paint 3D, Word, PowerPoint basics

Grade 4

Blending academics with real-world knowledge, projects, and higher-order thinking.

  • English: plays, poems, Greek mythology
  • Grammar: sentence types, tenses, interjections
  • Math: decimals, perimeter, area
  • Science: soil, body systems, environment
  • SST: maps, government, climate zones
  • Computer: Mail merge, PowerPoint design

Grade 5

Strengthening core subjects through analysis, project work, and advanced skills. Preparing children for middle school with confidence.

  • Advanced grammar: voice, tenses, articles
  • Writing: formal/informal letters, notice, message
  • Math: decimals, percentages, profit-loss
  • Science: human systems, natural disasters, volcano models
  • SST: Indian history, UN, environment, elections
  • Computer: File management, history, presentations
